01Information we collect
We collect only what's needed to run ActionMode and keep your progress in sync:
- Account information — when you sign in with Google, we receive your name, email address, and profile photo from your Google account.
- Your activity data — the habits, diet and supplement logs, daily completions, weights or assessments, and motivational content you create or customise within the app.
- Progress photos — any images you choose to upload to track your progress.
- Preferences & settings — choices such as your light/dark theme and other in-app settings.
- Basic technical data — standard information your browser sends (such as device type and general usage), used to keep the service reliable.
02How we use your information
We use your information to:
- Provide the core ActionMode experience — saving your plan, progress and preferences and syncing them across your devices.
- Personalise your habits, reminders and motivational prompts.
- Maintain, secure and improve the service.
- Respond to your questions and support requests.
We do not use your personal habit or progress data to build profiles for sale, and we do not use it to train unrelated products.
03Storage & processing
Your data is stored and processed using Google Firebase (including Cloud Firestore and Firebase Authentication), which acts as our infrastructure provider. Your information is associated with your account and is only accessed to operate the service. Google processes this data on our behalf under its own security and privacy commitments.
04Sharing & disclosure
We do not sell your personal data, and we do not share it with third parties for their own purposes. Limited disclosure happens only in these cases:
- Service providers — infrastructure partners such as Google Firebase that store and process data so the app can function.
- Advertising — as described in the next section, advertising partners may receive limited information through cookies.
- Legal reasons — if required by law, regulation, or a valid legal request, or to protect the rights and safety of our users.
05Advertising & cookies
ActionMode uses Google Ads to promote the service. As a result, Google and its partners may use cookies and similar technologies to serve and measure ads — including based on your prior visits to this site or other sites. This means some limited information (such as advertising identifiers) may be accessed by these advertising services.

06Your rights & choices
You can:
- Access & update your information at any time within the app.
- Delete your data — you may delete entries, photos, or request deletion of your entire account and associated data by emailing us.
- Withdraw consent — sign out and stop using the app at any time.
Depending on where you live, you may have additional rights under applicable data-protection laws (such as India's Digital Personal Data Protection Act or, for users in the EU/UK, the GDPR). To exercise any of these, contact us using the details below.
07Security & retention
We rely on industry-standard safeguards provided by Google Firebase, including encrypted connections and access controls, to protect your information. No system is completely secure, but we work to keep your data safe. We retain your information for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide the service; when you delete your account, we remove your associated data within a reasonable period, except where retention is required by law.
08Children's privacy
ActionMode is not directed to children under the age of 13 (or the minimum age required in your country), and we do not knowingly collect their personal data. If you believe a child has provided us information, please contact us and we will delete it.
09Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time. When we do, we'll revise the "Last updated" date above, and significant changes may be highlighted within the app. Continued use of ActionMode after changes take effect means you accept the updated policy.
